Explaining an Adoption and Continuance Intention to Use Contactless Payment Technologies: During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the lives of people and services, pushing them toward new technologies that are in step with development a “New Normal” way life. Contactless have been realized as mechanism to reduce risks infection, accelerating move touchless behaviors. purpose this study is develop an Integrated Expectation-Confirmation Health Belief Model (ECHBM) explain adoption continuance intention use contactless during Thailand. Based on empirical research survey 142 samples, proposed conceptual model was empirically validated using structural equation modelling (SEM). found perceived usefulness, susceptibility, seriousness, satisfaction significantly influenced usage payment technologies, whereas usefulness confirmation were be significant determinants consumer satisfaction. effect susceptibility relatively higher than satisfaction, indirect through integrated ECHBM strong explanatory power (56.8%) predict customers’ pandemic. proposes novel challenge protective health behavior mitigate being infected by COVID-19.
